MANDEVILLE
€545,00
Established in 1987 by Ken Schwartz and Larry Leight, iconic American eyewear label Oliver Peoples produces minimalist, heritage-inspired frames. After opening their first store in West Hollywood, the duo quickly established a reputation among sophisticates of all stripes with their vision of Californian luxury. Bypassing trends in favor of timelessness, Oliver Peoples sunglasses and optical glasses pay homage to the likes of Los Angeles Dodgers owner Peter O’Malley and To Kill A Mockingbird’s Atticus Finch. Vibrantly colored lenses appear as unmistakable label signature, set within delicately filigreed metal and rich tortoiseshell frames. Limited production numbers and understated branding contribute to the label’s pedigreed, formidable reputation fixated on quality of design and product. All styles are designed in Los Angeles, with premium manufacturing taking place in Italy and Japan.
Made in Japan, the Mandeville is a double bridge titanium sunglass. This modern, streamlined frame is designed with a unique thick eyewire that can be seen from the sideview. The craftsmanship is highlighted with a custom filigree pattern engraved on the bridge, eyewire and temples.
